The Ultimate UX Tool List

Over 90 User Experience Tools You Can Use Today to Increase Your Sales

Bad customer experiences result in $83 billion in lost revenue every year.

In addition, 69% of companies say they provide a superior online experience but 51% of customers who left the company said it was due to their bad online experience.

This is a big gap.

This gap explains why many people leave your website without completing their purchase.

So what are you to do?

Smart eCommerce retailers have known this for a while now: Talking with your potential customers is one of the most effective ways to narrow this gap.

UX Tool List

This is a list of tools that I use on a daily basis, as well as others that I’ve read about.

New tools are coming out all the time so it’s my goal to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. Please let me know if you know of any omissions.

Wireframes & Prototyping

Wireframes are  a visualization tool for showing functions, structure and content of a website, eCommerce website or app. A wireframe doesn’t contain any graphic elements of a site. It is a blueprint of sorts, that will easily explain how visitors will interact with the Web site.

A common next step from wireframes is to create protypes. Putting together a prototype helps you work through the details of a person will interact with your website or app. Using a prototype, you’ll be able to show it to people whether face to face or through a testing tool and collect detailed feedback.
